THE PROBLEM
My team and I saw several problems with this new era of T.V. The industry keeps seeing this device as a regular television and is a whole different concept. The new smart T.V. ’s are not just about channels. They have too much information to handle with the remotes that we know. So, these problems end up in a very confusing interface, not user-friendly at all and with a lot of inconsistencies between the use of the remote and what the user sees the screen. We needed a change of metaphor.
